Preliminary Analysis of Skin Temperature Asymmetries in Elite Young Tennis Players
نویسندگان
چکیده
This preliminary study aimed to assess skin temperature (Tsk) asymmetries before and after on-court training in elite young tennis players find the correlation between these demographic data, racquet characteristics, pain fatigue variation. Thermal images of nine were taken two a half hours standardised training. correlated age, years experience, weight, string tension, body mass index (BMI), variation pain. In contralateral comparison, Tsk was higher on dominant side areas such as anterior (1.1 ± 0.5 °C, p < 0.001, ES = 0.5) posterior forearm 1 0.01, 0.5). Concerning pre- post-comparisons, post-training values lower all regions except forearm, shoulder, leg. Finally, significant correlations found thermal asymmetry weight racquet, index, Monitoring players’ with infrared thermography (IRT) gives coaches vital information evaluate technical pattern activations during sessions.

Analysis of Kinetic Chain Mechanism Affecting Energy Flow in Kick Topspin Tennis Serve in Elite and Amateur Tennis Players
Background. Effective kick-topspin serving in tennis requires power to transfer mechanical energy through a kinematic chain from different parts of the body that is directly related to the kinetics of the joints. Energy flow analysis is a powerful tool for observing the mechanical energy transfer through the body parts. Objectives. This research aimed to study the correlation and predictive ab...

متن کاملUpper limb muscle-bone asymmetries and bone adaptation in elite youth tennis players.
INTRODUCTION The study of tennis players allows the nonracket arm to act as an internal control for the exercising racket arm. In addition, the study of the upper limbs removes the influence of gravitational loading, allowing the examination of the influence of muscular force on bone adaptation. METHODS The role of muscular action on bone, strength parameters of the radius, ulna (both at 4% a...
